FAQ

Short answers for holders. More detail lives in How to Play.

What do I need to do to participate?

Buy and hold PMINE. That's it — no staking, no daily check-in, and you do not need to press Mine. Your balance is your chance to win each round.

Is this website the only way to use PonsMine?

No. This site is the official frontend. PonsMine is an on-chain protocol — anyone can build another UI or explorer from public chain data. See Protocol.

Do I need to stake or lock PMINE?

No. Mining Power equals your PMINE balance. Holding is enough.

If I win, how do I get PONS?

Normally you do nothing — PONS is sent to your wallet when the round is settled. You only use Claim on the Dashboard if that automatic transfer failed (uncommon).

What is the Claim button for?

A backup only. If the automatic payout did not succeed, unpaid PONS shows as Claimable on the Dashboard. Claim still works if the protocol is paused. Most winners never need it.

Who starts and ends each round?

Anyone can start a round (Mine) or finish it (Settle). An official Keeper usually does this so holders need not open the site. Community Keepers and manual calls from Home are welcome too.

When is the Current Round Prize fixed?

When a round starts: that locked amount is what the winner can receive. Extra PONS that arrives during the round does not change this prize — it builds toward the next round.

Why is there a wait between rounds?

Production uses a 24-hour cooldown after a successful settle so rounds stay roughly daily. Test setups may use a shorter wait.

Who can press Mine?

Anyone, once the protocol is Ready and the cooldown has ended. The caller posts a small ETH bond (returned when the round settles successfully). You do not need to hold PMINE to press Mine — holding only affects win chance.

What if a round is never settled in time?

Anyone can expire the stuck round. The miner's bond goes to the Creator wallet, and the protocol can move on so a new round can start later.

Is there a burn or lock for power?

No. Power comes only from holding PMINE. Burn mechanics are out of scope.

How do trading fees become prize pool PONS?

Creator fees first collect in FeeSplitter (as ETH or PMINE). They are not moved on every trade automatically. When conversion runs, that balance is split 80% → bought as PONS for the prize pool and 20% → Creator (as ETH). Anyone can run conversion while the protocol is not paused; the official Keeper normally does this for you so the prize pool grows without holders needing to act.
